Ultra Density Optical (UDO) storage media provides absolute data
authenticity for regulatory compliance where archived information must
remain 100% unchanged. It offers permanent recording, higher
capacities, lower cost per gigabit and ultra-fast retrieval with a 35ms
random access capability and 8MB data rate. Blue laser technology
produces a massive 30 GB capacity per disk meeting the needs of
large-scale archives and growing compliance regulations. UDO cartridges
have the same dimensions as MO cartridges, allowing both to be stored
in the same library. HP UDO media surpass all ISO, IEC and ANSI
standards laid down for the UDO format, which has a three-generation
roadmap reaching capacities of some 120 GB per disk for unprecedented
scalability.
